At the end of the year, I typically do a round up of my favorite posts of the year from the design blog world. It becomes harder and harder each year, with the explosion in the number of blogs, and I am admitting defeat this year – too many blogs, too little time! So, taking the lead from Belgian Pearls, here is a visual round up of my favorite images of the year from my blog – images that have inspired me and make me happy every time I see them. Given that these are my favorites, it will also serve as a substitute for my annual ‘virtual home’! Enjoy the inspiration, and Happy New Year!

The house with the interesting window is the home of the former CEO of Bank of America and is currently for sale. The window is lovely, but the espaliered pear tree adds a lot of interest to the space.
