Top pins of the month

I’m a bit late with the top pins of the month post, but as usual there are some wonderful images in this collection – architecture, landscape, interior design, recipes, and great ideas.  I think you will enjoy them!  This month, there are 18 images that made the cut. The original source is identified wherever possible. If you know the source of an unidentified image, please leave a comment and I will correct it.

#18

This image has so many things I love – great art, pleated lampshades, herringbone floors, great architectural details, and a fantastic iron railing. I would love to know the source. Found on Pinterest.

#17

This compact back yard is beautifully and expertly designed.  By  Root Design Company.

#16

A serene bedroom caught many eyes.  The mercury glass lamp is the perfect touch – and creates the lilac and gray combination that I love so much. Wiseman and Gale Interiors, design by Jana Parker Lee.

#15

A perfect powder room in gray (lots of gray among the top pinned images!). Source unknown.

#14

I always love a great white kitchen. This one has many touches that warm it up and give it great character. Source unknown.

#13

Great tips for hanging frames, via I Heart Naptime.

#12

The arched entrance into this kitchen creates a great view. Via Cote de Texas.

#11

Tip for how to cook boiled eggs so that the shell peels easier. Great to know! Source unknown.

#10

An unusual but very beautiful gray bathroom. Design by Lucas Studio.

#9

The perfect image to create anticipation for summer. Via Architectural Digest.

#8

A transitional bathroom in shades of cream, by Linda McDougald Design.

#7

A great detail shot from a renovation done by Revival Construction.

#6

I have not tried these yet, but they look incredible. Roasted potatoes with bacon and cheese, via myadventuresinthecountry. Recipe can be found here.

#5

Fortunately, I am beyond the Sharpie on the coffee table time of my life (toothpaste worked well for this), but thought this was interesting in case Sharpie gets on anything else.

#4

One of Suzanne Kasler’s prettiest bedrooms, featured in Veranda a few years ago. This is a different view of the room and the ceiling and chandelier can be seen in this image – note the color of the ceiling. I love the chandelier, it’s the perfect touch for this room.  Design by Suzanne Kasler Interiors.  This house was featured in Suzanne’s book Timeless Style.

#3

Although I am out of the house building phase of my life, I still find these kind of guides to be very helpful. Via This Old House.

#2

This striking picture was very popular. The steel doors are the focus of the image, but the view through the house beckons the eye to come in. I would love to see the rest of this house!  Image via Rehme Steel.

The #1 pinned image of the month….

A beautiful French door painted the perfect shade of green. Source unknown.
I hope you enjoyed this month’s installment of the most pinned images of the month!  Do you have a favorite?
