My sister recently began working with designer Thomas Pheasant on the interior design of her 1920s Washington DC home, currently being renovated. She sent me this beautiful blog post to me last week, written by Pheasant for the Baker Furniture blog.
My sister recently began working with designer Thomas Pheasant on the interior design of her 1920s Washington DC home, currently being renovated. She sent me this beautiful blog post to me last week, written by Pheasant for the Baker Furniture blog.
The post is full of beautiful images of Pheasant’s Paris apartment.
The view from Pheasant’s bedroom – truly magical.
Pheasant takes us on a scouting expedition in the Paris Flea Market – all seen through his expert eyes. It is truly one of the most wonderful blog posts I have seen this year, and I encourage you to read it (and perhaps even comment) - http://blog.kohlerinteriors.com/2012/02/10/how-to-spend-one-great-morning-in-paris-a-trip-to-the-paris-flea-market-by-thomas-pheasant/

Is this the same sister that had the guest apatment over the garage you posted about a while back? If so, she is truly one lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteI'm overwhelmed...
ReplyDeleteSuch restraint in he first image! It's magic!
The light in the sky in the bedroom view shot reminds me of the light I see in the old Dutch Master's painting.
I wish I was sipping my glass of wine there instead of here at my computer...
Have a great weekend!
Cheers,
John

ReplyDeleteWell, your sister has selected the creme de la creme! I always "hoped" to "get his room" when I worked the Symphony Decorator Showhouse. He was always "nice enough" to give us personal tours. Hope we get to see the "finished creation...." franki
