2011 was a great year - admittedly very stressful with the detailed part of the house build and the thousands of selections that had to be made, not to mention listing a house for sale in this atrocious real estate market, selling the house, and on top of that a big move after 14 years in the same house. But also wonderful - finally moving into the house that I had planned for and dreamed about for many years, moving to a different part of town (which has truly been life transforming - no longer do I spend 4+ hours in the car every day), getting used to a new routine (which is great for someone like me who thrives on change).
Thank you to all of my readers who continue to visit despite the fact that my post frequency has been unpredictable and sporadic this year. If you are not already an email subscriber (or google reader subscriber or a fan on facebook), I encourage you to connect in one of these ways since I often go many weeks between posts!
Last year, on January 1st, I posted all of my favorite images from my blog during the previous year. I thought it would be fun and visually inspiring to do so again. Here are my favorite TTI blog images from 2011, with a link to the post that they came from underneath.

Hi...I think your blog is very inspiring. You have a great sense of style and culture. Thank you & Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog! You've had a heck of a year! 2012 is the year of our build and when we'll be moving into our home. I've loved reading about your thoughts and choices. But I'm wondering what you did end up choosing for your kitchen and bathroom for countertops and what your home looks like! When do we get to see your home in full?! I've been waiting for so long and just can't wait to see it!!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful pictures
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! xxx
I'm voting for the "basil flush mount" post with the white palenling and glass door. But I get more than one vote, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic roundup of some of your most beautiful posts! I am going to have spend some time going back through these and enjoying them again! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI used the first image (once I found it on your site) as a screen saver for my computer at work...it was fun having co workers ask if that was my house! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to 2012 and to your posts, which always inspire and interest me.
Karen
Holly,
ReplyDeleteYou truly have been an inspiration to me...and I feel like I'm shadowing your past year's work, as we make progress on our renovation/facelift. Suddenly, I need to make a lot of decisions and feel like I don't have a cohesive plan...so I find your blog and past posts a source of calm and information.
I can't wait to hear what you have in the works for this year. May it be your best and happiest yet.
xo Elizabeth
I'll certainly visit your Facebook account. At least I can be updated by your posts even if I am doing FB. Happy New Year!

Hi, Holly! I really enjoy your blog and have been reading for a couple of years. I added it to my reading list, and I'm pretty selective in my choices! If you would, please take a second to check out my blog – and perhaps consider adding it to your reading list? I'd be most appreciative!
