A house just came on the market in Atlanta.
Here is the living room. There is something familiar about it. Do you recognize it? It looks quite different than the professionally shot, stylized photo below, but it is the same room. There is the Scott Ingram drip painting (although it looks SO much longer in the real estate photo), the French chairs with the wide stripe.
This is the photo from Suzanne Kasler's website, and this is a home for which she did the interior design (the home that is now on the market). It is SO interesting to see how differently the colors read in the photo from Kasler's website. Note the sconces in the Kasler photo that are not present in a picture from the home. The funky stools are nowhere to be seen in the home, and the side tables and lamps are completely different. The coffee table looks different too.
Here is the dining room from the real estate listing. Does it look familiar? Below is how we have seen it on the blogs (from Kasler's website).
One of the most charming touches - the curve back chair mixed in with the dining room chairs - is not shown in the real estate picture; instead, the matching set is around the table. At least the interesting turquoise vases are still there!
Here is the same front hall, from Kasler's website.
Pink bedroom, from Kasler's website (thanks to Mystic Rose for finding this one!)
Don't you just love making connections like this?
