Everything about The Bishop’s House makes our hearts sing. We’re especially drawn to the warm and cozy atmosphere of this house and we love the way the owners have left their personal stamp everywhere. What an amazing architect/builder/design team. Swoon, swoon.

And thanks for the comments on my blue room post. I am almost embarassed posting my tiny ugly room with all the gorgeous rooms and homes on people's blogs! And I honestly don't want to spend hundreds (or thousands) transforming this room - it is what it is - a simple room that can be pretty but I don't want to go crazy! I liked your Roman blinds - noticed your faux Romans in the last post. I think that is a great idea. I got a quote for $600 for a Roman, which is silly as we are going to replace this old window eventually as it is the only old window in the house. I love the faux Roman idea. Thanks!

How's it going with the house planning?! You must be so busy and overwhelmed! I know you are like me and see every detail and have a very considered approach so must be hard to make quick decisions - I hope you are getting time to mull everything over well enough!

Thinking of you as you go through this amazing and fun but likely tiring time!

A Beautiful Charming home taken of the exterior and when you enter the interior does not disappoint. I love that you list all the beautiful details in the room under every picture So often there are fantastic pictures found on blogs of interiors - but nothing about or very little about the details and accessories found in the rooms.

I take it in the master bedroom is an antique dresser not a reproduction - Eastlake era? I guess more on that in the next post?

I'm sure the Bishop would be ECSTATIC with the transformation!! WOW!! LOVE the baseboards and crown molding, the different cabinet materials in the kitchen, the windows, the artwork hung on the windows, the steel framed shower.... this is truly a gorgeous home. Thank you to you and the Ladisics for taking us inside :-)

Wow, that is a beautiful home! I'm so happy you let us all in on a closer look at this home. One of my favorite features in this home is the arches. I generally find arches to be quite feminine, but in this home, combined with the heavy framing, it is just so.. balanced.
