I loved the Tete-a-Tete sofa )) It took me a while to realize that it's actually two pieces combined together, like you wrote under the picture.
I'm not an interior designer, so I can't speak in professional terms. I can only say whether I "like" it or not. So, I LOVED most of the pictures, I liked the blue room, the entrance hall, the living rooms. One thing I didn't like was the canopy in the bedroom, but this is a matter of personal taste.

Mirrors and lighting, two magnificent ways of turning a room into something special!

I admire her work, and agree entirely about her philosophy on entries.

Also loved the way she talked about giving a room a layered feeling to make it more inviting.

I really appreciate the way she uses mirrors in such diverse spaces - she treats them like a basic, but they never turn out that way. It's such a great light technique.

This definitely looks like a book I would want to visit. She has a great talent for not only making elegant designs, but featuring it with unique patterns and shapes.

Loved the photo of the cover of her book. She is very talented, thank you for showcasing her work. It's really does work best when a designer has a 'look' that people buy. I struggle with creating that myself.

I absolutely love all the light blues and yellows. They make such relaxing spaces while branching out from the popular white/neutral color palettes (which I love, as well). I think this is a book I'll be purchasing for inspiration! Thanks.

Terry, if you came to my house you would see it is almost 100% red free! It is my least favorite color. Perhaps I just picked the pictures that reflect my own color preferences - but I am going to look through the book again to see! I seem to recall that there is a red library, and Jan writes that she once painted her bedroom red (it didn't work out).
