Congrats on 2 years; I will celebrate 4 in September! My blog has nothing to do with design though; I am one of those unfortunate souls who loves beautiful things, occasionally finds a way to secure them, but never, never finds the right way to put them all together. I have been very fortunate to receive Niermann Weeks' 12 arm Italian Chandelier as well as one of his mirrors. I just picked up 2 French Bougere' chairs I hope to recover soon and now "lime" instead of paint. I just wish I knew how to put all these "beautiful" pieces together! Hoping to win Phoebe Howard's book to inspire me but if it's not meant to be... thank you for enlightening me about her and so much more on your blog.

BTW... slight chance of a transfer to Atlanta for this KC family. Maybe you can inspire me in the right direction if it comes to house hunting!

I wish to comment on your wonderful blog and how much I enjoy reading it. It so happens that Phoebe Howard's shop, Mrs. Howard's, was a destination on one of my trips to Atlanta. I am an interior designer in the Chicago area and had my own shop for 23 years. It was called ROBINS EGG BLUE. It was one of the greatest loves of my life (my precious husband and children the others). Back to Phoebe, on one of my trips to Atlanta, I was told to seek out her shop. I did and I was mesmerized by her creativity, color choices, accessories and furniture. It was at her shop that I learned about the Benjamin Moore color, Vale Mist. It was one of the most beautiful colors I had ever seen. (at this point I had been in the design field for 18 years) I began to use it and then did part of my shop in the same color. I follow her blog and love to see what she is doing. Thanks for bringing her apartment to your blog and for sharing in its beauty. How lucky for you to be a part of such a wonderful "teacher"

I am photographing like crazy and plan to launch a blog. It is my greatest hope that my blog will give to others what yours has given to me.
