If the pipes or general structure breaks, leaks or otherwise, due to heavy or frequent useage, then a wall mounted unit creates more work & cost.<br /><br />That said, I would probably still go for a wall mount - at least in my kitchen! Adding one wall mount could add variety to one of your sinks--although they seem a bit more apropos to laundry or kitchen, in my opinion. Unlike deck-mount, you don't get shut-off's by default. Request them specifically! These are the little valves in the cabinet that shut off the water so you can do repairs.<br />2. You don't get a drain pull when you use wall mount. You pretty much need to use a plug or a push-action stop for the basin.
